Read on. For over 25 years, Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) has become a popular way for consumers to buy local, seasonal food directly from a farmer. Here are the basics: a farmer offers a certain number of "shares" to the public. Typically the share consists of a box of vegetables, but other farm products may be included.

The PYO schedule runs Wednesdays-Tuesdays; each new week begins on Wednesdays. PYO is open every day during daylight hours. If picking with your CSA doesn't work with your schedule, feel free to come back another day. Please keep children close in the PYO and always be aware of farm staff working in the fields and operating agricultural.

Yes! If you're running late and know you won't make it in time for your pickup, you can send a friend, family member, etc. to pick up your share for you. The CSA team will send an e-newsletter each week, approximately 2-3 days prior to your pickup day, with the "predicted" contents of your CSA box. We also send a reminder email the morning of your pickup which includes the contents of what was packed in your box.

CSAs will offer multiple places to pick up their produce (or beef or whatever you're looking for). Most of them offer their home farm, but almost all will offer at least one.
